OMG, Rick, what a gorgeously illustrated and informative article on a film I have never seen. Now I need to, being a fan of Wood, Redford and Tennessee Williams!
Was not aware that Natalie was Warren Beatty's first choice as Bonnie Parker, or that Elizabeth Taylor was considered as the lead in This Property.
Natalie Wood and Robert Redford had amazing chemistry together and both of those faces must be printed in the dictionary under the definitions of Gorgeous and Beautiful. It was Natalie who approved the casting of Redford in Inside Daisy Clover, I believe, which is a flawed film but the electricity between Redford and Wood is undeniable.
Can't wait to see this one, finally, thanks to you! -C
